Cut and Curl Co., Ltd. (“Cut & Curl” or “the Company”) is aware of the current issue of increasing wastes and proper waste disposal, leading to the implementation of waste separation policy at all of our salons. This is aimed at raising awareness and understanding among our staff regarding waste issues, disposal methods, and waste separation. On 24 May, our sustainability team visited and interviewed waste collectors responsible for the area around Ladprao 101 Road in Bangkok to discuss and understand their work and challenges.

During the discussion, our team inquired about the importance of separating waste before disposal. The waste collectors explained that separating waste before disposal could significantly reduce their workload, as sometimes, due to the high volume of waste, relevant authorities don’t have enough manpower to perform waste separation. When waste is not separated, it cannot be properly disposed of, resulting in environmental degradation and pollution issues.

In this regard, waste collectors requested everyone’s cooperation, through our team, to separate food residues and liquids from packaging materials such as plastic bottles, disposable cups, or plastic food containers before disposal.

Cut & Curl conducts its business on sustainable principles, focusing on participating in the care, maintenance, and resolution of natural resource and environmental issues. We believe that implementing waste separation policies at all our branches can significantly enhance the efficiency of waste limitation efforts by waste collectors and related authorities.
