As Cut and Curl Co., Ltd. (“Cut & Curl” or “the Company”) has been in collaboration with the Intercoiffure Thailand (ICD Thailand) to continuously support Thai hairdressers in being part of Intercoiffure Thailand (ICD Thailand), promoting knowledge exchange and skill development, this year, the team from Cut & Curl and the Intercoiffure Thailand participated in the Intercoiffure Asia Congress 2024 Tokyo. The event was held in Tokyo, Japan, during 23 – 24 April 2024, providing an opportunity for hairdressers from various countries across Asia to meet, exchange ideas, and experience the works of Asia’s leading hairdressers in the industry. This included hairdressers from countries such as Japan, South Korea, China, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, and Thailand.

Furthermore, the Intercoiffure Asia Congress 2024 Tokyo featured the award ceremony of the “Asia PERSONAL of the Year 2024” which represents an honor for hairdressers to encourage and support those dedicated to creating excellent works in the hairdressing profession. From the Intercoiffure Thailand (ICD Thailand), Ms. Wilaiwan Suwannaprom, a hairdresser from Cut & Curl, Central Ladprao, was nominated for this award. The selection was based on her past outstanding works, demonstrated professional conduct as a hairdresser, and contributions to the development of the hairdressing industry in Thailand.

Cut & Curl intends to collaborate with organizations within the hairdressing industry, both in Thailand and globally, with the objective to enhance the knowledge and skills of Thai hairdressers and elevating the Thai hairdressing industry to match those other leading countries worldwide.
